What does the MiniSOL controller offer?
The MiniSOL controller is an innovative ‘Plug&Play’ solution for controlling the operation of a small solar thermal system. It is extremely convenient to install and start-up. It is placed directly in the electrical socket and the first start-up is automatic based on the solar thermal system’s own performance analysis. The controller is operated solely via the mobile app and does not require advanced knowledge or involvement on the part of the user.
More heat with lower energy consumption
The MiniSOL controller is suitable for use with electronically controlled circulation pumps, also according to the latest iPWM2 control standard. This allows the pump speed to be precisely adjusted according to the current temperature measurements in the solar circuit. The aim is to reduce electricity consumption and, at the same time, extend the operation and heat extraction time of the solar thermal collectors. As a result, the energy efficiency of the system is increased.
Solar thermal installation under control
Supervision of the operation of the solar plant is possible in real time using the MiniSOL mobile app. It provides a view of the operating states, including the temperature in the solar thermal collectors and the domestic water in the heater. At the same time, the operation of the system is monitored and, in the event of any irregularities, a signal will be displayed on the controller’s LEDs and on the phone screen. In this way, it is possible to communicate, for example, a lack of flow or the failure of a temperature sensor.
Option of three levels of control
The controller is operated exclusively from the mobile app. The local connection to the controller is within the home network and the Wi-Fi module is built into the MiniSOL controller from the factory. By creating an account on the server, online remote operation also becomes possible. The MiniSOL mobile app is available for Android and iOS.

A typical small solar thermal system usually uses two temperature sensors (solar thermal collectors and hot water storage tank) to control one circulating pump operation. In this case, the MiniSOL controller will be sufficient. The GH26 controller allows the connection of up to 6 temperature sensors and additional accessories (e.g., flow meters, pressure switch, maintenance-free anode). It also allows to control 3 electrical devices (circulating pumps and valves with drives).
