What does the KOMFORT PLUS solar thermal kit offer?
By choosing a ready-made solar thermal kit, you can easily build a small solar plant for domestic hot water heating. The kit contains the main components of the installation tailored to the specific needs of the number of residents. The cross-matching of components, including the surface area of the solar collectors and the capacity of the hot water storage tank, eliminates the possibility of a poor selection of the entire system. The KOMFORT PLUS set is characterised by extended possibilities in terms of solar control. Thus, it is possible to extend the system to support central heating or to heat swimming pool water.
Maximum heat for little energy
Harnessing energy from the sun with trace energy consumption makes the solar thermal kit unrivalled in terms of energy efficiency. To generate 100 W of heat, only about 1 W of electricity is needed to power a small circulating pump. The optimally sized kit simultaneously ensures high operating efficiency and reduces the possibility of overheating on the sunniest days of the year.
Control without limits or compromises
The GH26 controller is one of the most powerful solutions on the market, designed to manage the operation of both standard and extended solar installations. It is therefore possible to operate systems not only to heat domestic water, but also swimming pool water or to support home heating. The GH26 controller allows the connection of, among other things, 6 temperature sensors, 3 circulation pumps, 2 electronic flow meters, a maintenance-free anode, a glycol circuit pressure switch or a UPS. The controller allows the solar thermal system to cooperate with the heating boiler, the domestic water circulation pump and the EKONTROL remote monitoring system. The operation of the plant is shown on the LCD display.
A complete solution for selection and installation convenience
The KOMFORT PLUS solar thermal kit consists of a matched number of solar collectors and a corresponding domestic hot water storage tank capacity. The scope of supply includes the ALEX HX10 pump station, the GH26 controller and a complete expansion vessel for the glycol circuit. To connect the solar collectors to the battery, there is a ZPKS connection kit with a 3/4″ screw. It also comes with 20 or 30 litres of propylene glycol. Other components of the solar thermal system need to be ordered separately, as they are dependent on the installation conditions of the system. This is the mounting system for the solar collectors and the solar circuit pipe.
The most environmentally friendly technology
A small solar installation directly reduces atmospheric emissions. Every amount of fuel saved at home, means less strain on the environment and cleaner air in the area. Even the smallest solar thermal kit of 2 flat-plate solar collectors can reduce CO2 emissions by up to 800 kg per year. This is roughly equivalent to the ‘work’ of 120 mature trees. More than 220,000 Hewalex solar installations in operation are significantly relieving nature.
Solar thermal kit – the power of benefits
By choosing a solar thermal kit, not only do you benefit from faster completion of system components, but also from the total investment cost and the manufacturer’s care. The basic warranty for solar collectors is 10 years. Hewalex’s warranty conditions are among the most favourable on the market in terms of duration and minimum operating restrictions.
